Abington Police Reports, Monday Edition

The following police reports were taken from the Abington Police records room Aug. 8.

Drug possession with intent to deliver and possession of a small amount of marijuana … Patrick Loftus Oriordan, 20, of the 1600 block of Edgehill Road, Abington, was arrested March 18 at 12:01 p.m. after police executed a search warrant on his house. According to police, upon entry, Oriordan was found sleeping in a second-floor bedroom. Seized from the house were one piece of confirmed marijuana, one marijuana grinder and one plastic bag containing several small Ziploc bags.

DUI … Aman Gogna, 33, of the 5500 block of East Lawrence Street, Philadelphia, was arrested June 24 at 3:27 a.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Huntingdon Pike and Shady Lane for having an expired registration sticker and for having tinted windows, police said. According to police, Gogna smelled of alcohol and was making slow, deliberate movements. Gogna said he had “five beers” at a bar and had a blood alcohol content of 0.093 percent, according to police.

DUI … Stephanie Siwek, 32, of the 200 block of South Church Road, Jenkintown, was arrested July 1 at 2:37 a.m. near the corner of Easton Road and Tyson Avenue after she was seen swerving over the double-yellow line about 10 times, police said. According to police, Siwek smelled of alcohol, had glassy eyes, failed three field sobriety tests, and had a blood alcohol content of 0.283 percent.

DUI … Caleb Juma Okore, 62, of the 5500 block of Windsor Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested July 3 at 9:07 p.m. following a one-vehicle crash near the corner of Old Welsh and Old York roads, police said. According to police, Okore smelled of alcohol, had very glazed eyes, and was “confused and stuporous.” A July 21 blood test revealed that Okore had a blood alcohol content of 0.188 percent, police said.

DUI … Charles Garrett Finney, 30, of the 200 block of Cameron Road, Willow Grove, was arrested July 3 at 9:30 p.m. near the corner of Old Welsh and Rockwell roads after he was seen swerving into the wrong lane, almost striking an oncoming vehicle, police said. According to police, Finney said, “Yeah I was reaching over to silence my phone.” Finney smelled of alcohol, said he drank “not much,” failed two of three field sobriety tests, and had a blood alcohol content of 0.126 percent. His blood also tested positive for the presence of cocaine and Oxycodone, police said.

Felony drug possession with intent to deliver … An arrest warrant was issued July 21 for Patrick Loftus Oriordan, 20, of the 1600 block of Edgehill Road, Abington, after Oriordan sold an Oxycodone pill to a confidential source in the 2000 block of Chester Avenue Jan. 6, police said.

Oriordan also sold four Oxycodone pills to a confidential source in the 2000 block of Chester Avenue on March 15, police said.

In both cases, Oriordan sold the drugs within 1,000 feet of a school, police said.
