The following police reports were taken from the Abington Police records room Jan. 24.
DUI and driving with a suspended license … Schuyler Cummings-Glynn, 24, of the 200 block of Keswick Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Dec. 11 at 5:52 a.m. in the 1200 block of Edgehill Road after he was seen driving — police had responded to his residence earlier in the morning for a domestic dispute, at which point he was intoxicated, police said. According to police, Cummings-Glynn said, “I know that I should not be driving and I don’t have insurance.” Cummings-Glynn’s vehicle’s back windshield was covered with ice, his vehicle was not inspected or registered and he was driving with a DUI-suspended license, police said. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.080 percent.
DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license … Drew McErlane, 26, of the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue, Warminster, was arrested Dec. 15 at 9:19 a.m. following a call for an unconscious man sitting in a maroon Toyota Camry near the corner of Henrietta Avenue and Irvin Road, police said. According to police, a witness saw McErlane sitting in the vehicle with its engine running; McErlane had the vehicle’s transmission in drive and had his foot on the brake while unconscious. The witness put the vehicle in park and turned off the engine.
McErlane was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital. While in the hospital, police said McErlane “alluded to the fact” that he had been drinking in North Philadelphia earlier in the morning and that he had purchased heroin and used it earlier in the morning. A syringe was found near McErlane’s feet in his vehicle. McErlane’s blood tested positive for the presence of cocaine and morphine.
Possession of a controlled substance … Maurice Paul Rich, 55, of the 1000 block of Edgehill Road, Abington, was arrested Dec. 20 at 8:44 a.m. following a traffic stop for driving 29 mph in a school zone near the corner of Edgehill Road and Wayne Avenue, police said. According to police, several children were in the area. Rich’s vehicle smelled of marijuana and police found a plastic bag of confirmed burnt marijuana in the car’s center console, and two partially-burnt marijuana cigarettes. The total amount of marijuana was 1.58 grams, police said.
Fleeing or attempting to elude police, theft, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest … An arrest warrant was issued Jan. 2 for Matthew L. Sieck, 19, of the 600 block of Harvard Square, Bensalem, after he stole $250 from a cash register in the cafeteria area of the Lenfest Building in Abington Memorial Hospital at about 12:37 p.m. and fled in a gold Buick, police said. According to police, two Jenkintown police officers saw the gold Buick turn westbound onto Township Line Road at Washington Lane. The two police officers attempted to block the Buick with their patrol cars; Sieck was ordered to exit the car at gunpoint, but maneuvered his vehicle around the patrol cars, police said. Sieck nearly struck a police officer.
A witness at the hospital identified Sieck in a photo array, police said.
