Abington Man Among Powerball Jackpot Winners
The Pennsylvania Lottery releases the names of the 'SEPTA 48,' the winners of the $107.5 million Powerball Jackpot
The winners received their ridiculous novelty check today from the Pennsylvania Lottery ... and among the winners is Robert Landgraf of Abington. Landgraf is one of nine winners hailing from Montgomery County.
The other Powerball winners from Montgomery County are:
- Robert Chope, Hatboro
- Kevin Derham, Merion,
- Richard Drennen, Hatboro
- Emille Williams, Blue Bell
- Dawn Hill, Plymouth Meeting
- Leon Faulk, Willow Grove
- Matthew Sheridan, Hatboro
- Phillip Madden, Huntingdon Valley
The members of the group work for SEPTA; the members of the group pool lottery tickets for each jackpot over $100 million. The group went with the cash option. Forty-eight people will split the prize, though one of the winners is splitting her share. Each will receive $2.24 million before taxes.
According to the press release, the winning ticket was purchased at the Newsstand at the Gallery at Ninth and Market streets in Philadelphia.
The numbers were: 04-25-29-34-43, and the red Powerball was, 29.
It’s the third-largest Pennsylvania Lottery prize ever awarded.
